Redesigning the website for

Lycee International of Los Angeles.

 

Big Picture:

To make a better identity for the school and in that way make more money by increased enrollment.

 

Project Summary:

Make drastic changes to the website’s layout and design in a way that will make it more visually appealing, better organized and easier to navigate.

 

Business objectives/goal:

Objectives are to create a better image for the school, to make the website more interesting and appealing to the users, remake navigation and organize the website so that the user feels confident and at home. Increase enrollment would be the main goal.

 

Preferred date for launch by client:

March 19, 2012

 

Target Audience:

The target audience for LILA would mostly be parents (or soon to be) looking for a school for their kids, a lot of them will be of french heritage, with young kids and high income. They have basic or standard skills using computers and internet.

 

Perception Strategy:

Current perception: Unorganized, looks outdated and unappealing, mis-leading, doesn’t have a strong identity.

Desired perception: Visually appealing, clear, organized and easy to navigate, giving a good and honest impression about the school.

 

Message Strategy:

Primary message: LILA is the ideal school for anyone who wants a good start in life

Strategy: Website will be appealing to the target audience and clearly deliver the message.

 

Competitive Advantages:

Clean and easy to navigate, simple but professional and strong design.
